The Vallnord BikePark is fast becoming one of the best mountain bike venues in Europe, with great terrain, stunning views and local rider, Cedric Gracia as the man behind many of the developments. The BikePark is exciting and always expanding.  Hosting the UCI World Cup has put the resort on the map but also allowed them to really push the development of their trail designs both downhill and 4X.  The ground here is usually loose and dusty as the summers are hot and dry and the park is not one for beginners as the lower face of the hill is very steep.

Nearest Airport: Vigo is about 2 1/2 hours away.

What does Vallnord have to offer?

DOWNHILL
The downhill mountain bike trails vary between wide open, fast and dusty pisted runs that are graded easy to steeper, technical wooded trails graded red and black for advanced and expert riders.  There are 11 gravity assisted runs in total.

Vallnord has hosted several international races, from Maxxis to World Cups, a testament to their quality.  The trails are long, loose and testing with steep chutes. Strong brakes are essential at Vallnord due to the steep slopes under the gondola.  There is also a Maxi Avalanche trail from the top of the mountain; the winners finish in some 25 minutes of leg bu ing and arm pumped gruelling descending.

For an easy run, try the Skippy Track DH and La Carbonera. For the more difficult, take the Cedric Gracia World Cup trail.  It is not steep but has plenty of roots and rocks to sharpen your reactions.

CROSS COUNTRY
Vallnord is a great place to ride XC; the trails are interesting, the vistas inspiring and the ground loose and lively.  The weather in the summer is usually very warm which means that hydro packs are essential when putting in some miles.  There are 7 marked routes of varying difficulty and if you want to ride out to the surrounding hills you can make up many more.  The venue has hosted the UCI World Cup XC round and the trails on offer can be as testing as you like as there are some huge mountains to test your lung capacity.

  Buildings are quite expensive and not everyone can buy it. Nevertheless, credit loans was created to support people in such situations.
