With its Family Trail, Freeride Trail, Northshore line, Slopestyle Park, Downhill Trail and Northshore Park, Semmering is a great little bike park that has set out to build something fun for beginners and pros alike plus, the trails are maintained daily.

Bikepark Zau[:ber:]g opened in 2006 and now contains several routes. It isrndeveloping each year with new runs. It is a modest sized hill and thernteam there have focused on an accessible park that can be used byrnfamilies and beginners as well as having some more testing obstaclesrnfor more experienced riders. The hill is wooded with open piste sections and the ground can get cut up in the wet.
2009 saw a brand new, world wide unique 900° corkskrew bridge was installed on the family / monsterroller trail. The Bridge brings you 2 levels down to a new easy trail and offers unique fun for everyone! Families are able to miss out the obstacles if they wish!
DOWNHILL
On
the gravity side, there is a downhill racetrack in the bike park that
is technical and has hosted the Austrian Championships; the rest of the
park is gentler with more freeride obstacles that are all lift-assisted
making it plenty of fun on a downhill bike.
CROSS-COUNTRY
There
are several XC tours through the area in rolling wooded alpine
countryside and routes are available from the tourist office, although Semmering is not as good for Cross-country as the XC trails would not keep people busy on a long holiday.
FREERIDE
The park has plenty of freeride obstacles, a northshore route with flowing wooden raised sections, berms and drops.
Half the way up the hill there is a slopestyle course ideal for
intermediate riders and finally the freeride route running from the top
of the hill.
