6) Prato Nevoso
Prato Nevoso is a small resort above the Mediterranean coast, close to both Finale Ligure and San Remo, meaning this is a great place to base yourself and travel to the other riding areas.
Everything you need can be found in the village and it's location is perfect with great access mainly by road. The village is at 1480 m and the ski lift runs right from your doorstep. Bike Land is a proper bikepark, typical of modern resort towns with runs being directly above the village and directly accessed by the lifts. A fine example of northern Italy's thriving BikePark scene.

A lot of riding in a compact area with well designed and thought out trails. Although Prato Nevoso is a relatively new and small resort, all in all it is a well organized bike resort.
DOWNHILL
There is no
specific Downhill course in the BikePark. Although there is trails enough to challenge
everyone, with some steep sections and only advanced level riders will
be smoothly hitting the downhill slopes of the jumps. Beginners will
probably be better off on other trails as the trail only really flows
if you have a good control of speed and rhythm.
FREERIDE
There are many Freeride trails with short northshore style sections which
compliment the natural features of the mountains, linking up sections
and creating obstacles that give
the trails a real flow. On the rocks is the trail that has man-made and natural sections working really well together.
Situated under the lower lift is the BikePark which has some small drops and wallrides to play on, but nothing too challenging. There is also a dirt jump section, a pump track, funbox and foam pit!
CROSS-COUNTRY
Cross Country riders have some good loops to choose from with distances
varying from 7 km to 52 km, catering for all fitness levels. More
experienced riders will also be quite happy on the Freeride trails.
Junction and Lets Dance are perfect Freeride trails that can be ridden
on Cross Country bikes by riders of all levels.
