Kranjska Goraa is a low-key funpark surrounded by beautiful nature making it a truly relaxing place to take a break with a bike.

As Kranjska Gora is within close proximity to Austria and Pohorje BikePark, it makes this a good multi-tripstop with a relaxed atmosphere
and beautiful Surroundings.
There are two different styles of riding in Kranjska Gora.
First there is the bikepark with its man made runs and loads of wooden
kickers and drops, secondly there is the natural riding in the stunning
area around the resort. By mixing up the park with the natural trails you will get the most out of the riding in resort. The long warm summer here helps to dry the soil out under the trees so the trails are generally very dry and dusty.
DOWNHILL
The Downhill course hosts a round of the Slovenia Cup and is 2 km
long with a 350 m vertical drop.
It has various split sections so you can choose your level of
difficulty, and the main route can be made into more than six separate
runs if you join it up with the different freeride lines that run off
it. Outside the bikepark there are a number of natural descents which
you can shuttle. If you arrange with the bikepark they will organise a
shuttle and a guide.
FREERIDE
The
Freeride trail at Kranjska Gora runs right from the top of the hill
with numerous built stunts ranging from wooden northshore runs and
wallrides to dirt doubles and step downs. There are different ability
choices throughout its length, but make sure you check the lines before
sending it down the trail.
CROSS-COUNTRY
There is a whole range of Cross Country tours running out from Kranjska Gora. The maps available even show a 5 day tour through Julian Alps.
There are plenty of shorter rides nearer the town but most of the
marked trails are more in the touring vein than singletrack Cross
Country. Contact the bikepark via the website to arrange for guides to
show you the trails best suited to your ability.
