Switzerland
1) Arosa
The beautiful Alpine village of Arosa is situated on the river Plessur in a high glacial valley in the canton of Graubunden. They have worked hard to expand its summer offerings with free lift access through the summer!
The village, at a height of 1734m is surrounded by mountains ranging up to 2653 m. The terrain in Arosa is open with little to no trees resulting in plenty of open, fast runs and singletrack routes running through the valleys linking to the other nearby swiss resorts. Arosa is an ideal place for a mid travel trail bike or light freeride bike. Perhaps one of the main incentives to visit Arosa is that at present all the cablecars and mountain railway are free to use during the summer when staying in the resort.
Nearest airport: Zurich (approx 3 hrs).

The downhill track is a natural, wide open piste run. It is a great run to go fast on but the more advanced riders may find the lack of technical sections limits
their riding.
